ABOUT ME

I was a happy portrait photographer until Covid hit, and I had to find an alternate way to cover my bills. I thought I would try dog boarding part-time, temporarily until I could open my studio again. And it kind of snowballed. By the end of the first year I had made more than any single year in my 20 year portrait career. I was beyond shocked. By the third year I had made over $68k. And the kicker was that even in my first year, Rover accounted for less than half of my boarding income.
I've shared some of my success online, and found people wanting to get into boarding as a side income while they work another job from home, and it seemed like dog lovers who are looking for extra income or a new full- time work from home could use some help getting pointed in the right direction. To save time and money in the first year, or finally get on track with what I learned, and wish I had known sooner.
So I'm very excited to open this door for dog lovers who are interested in creating a successful boarding business. Whether you want an extra thousand per month or several thousand... I'm sharing what I learned, and I've put it all together in a starter kit that includes a 24 page guide, a complete boarding manager app- track bookings and client details, download your earnings, and a client agreement contract. Having a contract at the start is so important. I unfortunately waited until I encountered a client who did not understand what she was responsible for and began harrassing me. Having this agreement will spell that out clearly from the start.
